Governance Model

At its meeting on Nov. 20, 2010, Edmonton Presbytery adopted a new governance model for a trial period.

Based on consultations with Dan Hotchkiss of the Alban Institute, the model delegates authority for day-to-day functions to five Operations Team s.

Strategic planning and visioning is the responsibility of the Court of Presbytery, and governance authority is delegated to the Council, with powers of the Executive.

The Personnel Committee serves as the liaison between the Presbytery and the staff.
