BISSELL CENTRE has a
multi-faceted ministry to people with low incomes, a drop-in for people of the
community, programs for children and youth, a day-care centre, women's programs,
employment programs, laundry and shower facilities, OUR VOICE newspaper which
deals with issues affecting people on low incomes, and a summer camp at Moonlight
Bay, Lake Wabamun.

GEORGE SPADY CENTRE provides
overnight accommodation for men and women who have been drinking and cannot get
entry into another shelter. They receive up to 75 persons a night and turn away
dozens more most nights. They operate a short term detox centre for men and
women who wish to deal with their addition.

INNER CITY PASTORAL MINISTRY
serves the physical and spiritual needs of people mostly from the inner city. It
holds a weekly church service at Bissell Centre, followed by a lunch served by
city faith groups in turn. Counselling and support are provided to people on the
street, in hospital, in prison, in shelters and bars.

JELLINEK HOUSE is a 16 bed
residential facility for men dealing with alcoholism and other addictions. Men
must be sober for a month before admission and are expect to stay up to six
months, living with others dealing with their addictions and sharing with
successful AA members in recovery.

E4C is our host at Alex Taylor School, and runs
numerous programs, the Women's Emergency Shelter (WEAC), other housing for
special groups, school hot lunch programs, the Kids in the Hall Bistro and
training program, and many other innovative programs for persons living in
poverty.
